rules of the lab
you're in for a treat today. oh, boy! today's doodle is was done while i was a work, using the cheap Paint program in Windows. i was either slacking at work or multitasking my science and doodle sides. you decide which.
there is a dress code for the lab. one of them is wearing steel-toed shoes. while it doesn't seem necessary for this in lab, it definitely is necessary in the production facilities of the company. and we do have some heavy equipment in the lab, so better to be safe than sorry, like the poor fellow below.

tug of war
i had a dream that a kid was pulled into two by two big guys. it wasn't as disturbing in my dream, since the kid turned out to be an android with synthetic flesh.
my supervisor analyzed my dream. he said that the kid is me. and the two guys are the FP lab and TF lab. i currently split up my work weeks between the two labs. and each lab is finding they need me more. the supr. was dead on about my dream. i do feel like i'm being pulled into two. but dammit, i am NOT a synthetic-fleshed android. i have feelings too.

by the power of the death star
for the last month or so, off and on again, my coworkers and i have been discussing the Star Wars movies. most of the times, we're nitpicking mr. lucas' lack of attention to details. but other times, we're sharing random thoughts and ideas concerning different aspects of the star wars universe.
one of my contributions was a suggestion on how the Death Star is able to get around the galaxies.

can you just imagine skiing behind this boat? motoring! what's your price for flight?

the most important
i am currently employed as a chemist. i sometimes take brief bathroom breaks. i always wash my hands afterward. over the center sink, there's an old sticker on the mirror that states: You're looking at the most important element in the chemistry at Arch. it's like a mini ego-boost. i'm sure to wash my hands at that sink and that sink alone.
